100% British potatoes, hand-cut daily and never frozen. Double-fried the traditional way for a crisp golden shell and a fluffy, melt-in-the-mouth centre.
A Blizzard Of Melting Cheese
Scattered over the chips while they're still steaming, so it melts golden and gooey before the tray ever reaches the counter.
Crispy Chicken, Cut Not Crumbed To Death
Marinated chicken breast, buttermilk-battered and fried to order. Real pieces with real bite — piled on generously, never sprinkled.
Our Smoky Signature Red Sauce
Slow-cooked tomato, smoked paprika and a quiet kick of chilli. Made to our own recipe, squeezed across the tray in one long lazy ribbon.
Cool Garlic & Herb To Balance The Heat
Cracked black pepper, roasted garlic and fresh herbs whipped through. The cool counterweight that makes the red sauce hit harder.

The Idea
It all started with a simple question — why is there no proper chip shop in Derby that actually does it right? The plan was born: fresh-cut chips, smash burgers, bold flavours, and a brand that Derby could be proud of.
Building the Vision
Months of planning, recipe testing, and sourcing the best local suppliers. Every detail was locked in — from the seasoning blend to the branding. Crazy Chips was being built the right way, from the ground up.
Launch
Crazy Chips opened its doors in Derby in 2026. Online ordering, in-store collection, and delivery all live from day one. The response from Derby was overwhelming — and we're just getting started.
